If there is one way to sum up the Bass Agents, it is blazing bass. Combining liberal lashings of hardstyle and hard trance, the hard dance duo, Didjital and Ganjaguru, have been sharpening their tools, introducing fresher cuts in mighty tight mixes – all in the name of serving up fans who like their basslines hard-hitting and veering just slightly off the edge. Formed originally in Melbourne back in 2000, the Bass Agents returned to their home base 3 years later and pioneered a new era in the underground dance scene in Malaysia with their very own hard dance event, Hardsequence – a night that saw many local and international acts introduced, quickly garnering the brand 2 JUICE Reader Choice Awards, “Best New Local Night” and “Most Up For It Crowd” within a year.

Word of the vibe-shifting parties spread and the Bass Agents bagged many more feature nights in both the local and international circuit, playing alongside a mega-sized list of legends like The Prophet, Headhunterz, Showtek, Lady Dana, Gizmo, Organ Donors, Alex Kidd, Kutski, Phil York, Dave Joy, Technikal, Dark by Design, Andy Whitby, Paul Brisk, Scot Project, BK, Thrillseekers, Kai Tracid, Derb, and Johan Gielan. True to their reputation, the Bass Agents was also voted as Best New Local DJ by JUICE Readers Choice Awards and shortlisted to perform for the internationally-acclaimed IN QONTROL 2010. Proving to be real masterclass in what they do, they have also since written a new chapter in the Bass Agents trajectory with a new recruit namely DJEN and together they have amassed several self-produced releases to push their unique sound forward. Timeless bombs like Black Winter and Midnight to Madness never fail to create a stir on the dancefloor every time it’s dropped.

The spinners’ raw energy and show-stealing fists-in-the-air sets is not by accident. If you ever wonder what’s really driving their ferocious vibe, remember their mantra, “Go hard, or go home!”
